Welcome to Art Class 2013-2014!

I am very grateful to be a part of the Holy Redeemer family this year! I am looking forward to celebrating community, creativity and faith and to teaching and learning.

My plan is to introduce and/or reinforce the Principles and Elements of art through drawing, printmaking, painting, and sculpture. I plan to integrate art history into each lesson as I use the Liturgical Calendar as a guide and reinforce content with a variety of tools including technology.

I will use this blog to post fun and informative "Art Links" as well as student projects so please check back often to see what the children are up to in art class.
